Roma
Roman cuisine restaurant
in the center of Padua
Rome is a lifestyle, a way of eating and being together. Its cuisine is genuine, bold, and deeply rooted in tradition, with dishes that tell stories of neighborhoods, taverns, and old flavors. With Passando per Roma, we wanted to bring a slice of that authenticity to Padua, creating a place to rediscover the capital’s true flavors.
To do this, we explored Rome far and wide, from Trastevere’s alleys to Testaccio’s markets, Campo de’ Fiori’s fry shops to Garbatella’s trattorias. We tasted, explored, and selected the best of Roman culinary tradition to offer an experience that feels like home. The stars here are the symbolic first courses: the iconic carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe. Plus traditional meat dishes like saltimbocca and meatballs in sauce. And the golden, crispy fried classics like supplì.
We offer an honest journey through the capital’s flavors, among dishes that made history and recipes still gracing Roman tables today. Our restaurant is an invitation to sit down and rediscover the Italian spirit and Roman culinary roots, nestled in a cozy street in central Padua.
